Shu Mansheng prepares to take off in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province on May 10, 2010. Shu, a car mechanic, has spent 5,000 yuan ($733 dollars) to realize his dream of soaring in the sky. It took him eight months to design the 4.5-meter-long, 1.5-meter-high and 70-kilogram power hang glider. But the glider crashed shortly after taking off; fortunately Shu was only slightly injured. Still, he said he was thrilled to fly through the air despite his glider being badly damaged. [Photo/Asianewsphoto]
