Police and staff workers carry an unexploded bomb out of a railway construction site in Shijiazhuang, North China’s Hebei province on May 18, 2010. The bomb, 1.7 m in length and 25 mm in diameter, was discovered by workers in the morning. Police were sent to the site to remove the device. Experts estimate it could be an aerial bomb that failed to explode after it was dropped. The date of production and detailed parameters will require further checks. Police warned people to stay away and report any new discoveries immediately.. [Photo/Chinanews.com] |
