Beachgoers covered in algae in E China
The beach at Zhanqiao Pier in Qingdao city, East China's Shandong province, is covered in overgrown green algae, July 14, 2011. The algae also covered a large area of sea surface near the beach, and forced the beach to close at 3 pm.
