Zhou Jing, 13, who was featured in a story about "left-behind" children published by China Daily on May 31, received a care package from Jesmin Jamar, a woman in London who was touched by her story. Zhou is among millions of youngsters across China who are being raised by elderly relatives as parents leave them in the countryside to find better jobs in cities. Zhou lives with her grandparents, her half-sister and her cousin in Fushan township of Central China's Henan province. Her parents, both factory workers, are several hours away in Xuzhou, East China's Jiangsu province. [Photo/Asianewsphoto]
