Rural doctor Ding Yousheng treats a boy's wound in Sanshan village, East China's Jiangxi province, Sept 17, 2012. Ding, a doctor disabled in his right foot due to polio, founded the only clinic for 3,000 people in the village in 1983. In 1999, he broke his left leg after returning at night from saving an old man in the neighboring village with high fever.
