Lakki Marwat suicide bombing

At least 105 people died and over 100 were injured, many of them critically, after a suicide bomber set off an explosives-laden vehicle on a field during a volleyball tournament in the village of Shah Hasan Khel, Lakki Marwat District, in the northwestern Pakistani province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Jan 1, 2010. As of Jan 3, 2010, it is the deadliest bombing in Pakistan since the Peshawar bombing in October 2009.
