The main structure of a timber arch bridge, with one of the world's largest single spans at up to 75.7 meters, has been completed in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, Oct 30. The bridge across the Xujiang River, an ancient canal, is 120 meters in length. The construction of the bridge used a total of 400 cubic meters of wood.
