Lena Dunham criticizes Vogue airbrush claims

The 'Girls' actress insists the backlash is "messed up" after feminist blog Jezebel offered up $10,000 for original images of the star, in a bid to prove she had been extensively airbrushed when covering the February issue of the publication.
Speaking during an interview with Grantland Channel, Lena said: "That was messed up. I think Jezebel can be really smart and funny ... I think it's just like, once you've been attacked in that way, it's hard to enjoy, once you feel like they've made such a monumental error in their approach to feminism."
The 27-year-old star was worried about what she would look like in the shots but was put at ease once she learned Vogue had retouched the images, which were shot by famed photographer Anne Lebowitz.
Lena added: "I was like, maybe I'm delusional and I don't look how I think I look.
"It was the most minimal retouching, I felt completely respected by Vogue. I felt like, 'Thank you for removing the one line from my face because I'm 27 years old and shouldn't have that there and I appreciate this.'"
