Upon great success during its first edition March 2012, Restaurant Week is coming back, with even a larger selection of the best restaurants in town. The world’s biggest dining event, DiningCity Restaurant Week, will not only go live in Beijing this September 3-9, but in three cities at the same time, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, introducing the Chinese public to the concept of China Restaurant Week.

Beijing Restaurant Week (www.restaurantweek.cn) will be staged from September 3-9, offering set 3-course menus across town at RMB 78 or RMB 118 for lunch and RMB 168 or RMB 248 for dinner.

Beijing Restaurant Week’s launch proved its strong debut with a selection of 25 of only the best restaurants and more than 3.000 reservations. For the second edition, the selection of high end restaurants will double, offering Beijing foodies and professionals an amazing fine dining experience. A sneak preview of renowned restaurants that will join the 2nd edition of Beijing Restaurant Week, are Inagiku, Cepe, Capital M, The Peninsula’s Huang Ting and Jing and many more.

“The concept has proven its strong marketing and PR power in Beijing, bringing a large crowd of new customers to high end restaurants and having top chefs battle each other for the prestigious award of “Best Restaurant” of the week,” said Onno Schreurs, Managing Director DiningCity.com for Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.

DiningCity, jointly with the Event Participant HSBC Insurance,  presents the Restaurant Week, in both Shanghai and Beijing. Online reservations begin at 4pm on August 15th, with available tables expected to fill up fast.
