For the last 23 years, Michelin-starred T'ang Court in The Langham hotel has been serving Cantonese cuisine in right royal style. To celebrate that continuity, its team of chefs has designed an eight-course signature menu for well-heeled diners to enjoy in the privacy of one of its five private dining rooms.

The menu features luxuries such as baked avocados filled with scallop, cream sauce and topped with caviar, sauteed prawns with asparagus accompanied by crispy-fried shrimp with goose liver terrine, braised whole abalone with black mushrooms, and crispy salty chicken. The last, especially, is a deceptively simple dish that sings in the mouth and is typical of the care and attention to detail that the chefs lavish on their creations.

Now here's the catch. This menu is only available in the private dining rooms for parties of no less than four at HK$800 ($103) per head plus 10 percent service charge.
