Here is a sampling of the many restaurants that will serve Thanksgiving dinners in China this month (reservations strongly advised), or offer takeaways you can enjoy at home or an office party. (Be sure to order in advance.)

BEIJING

Nov 26 and 28

The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu Great Wall

Menu highlights: Family-style servings of roast turkey and trimmings, cream of local mushroom soup, chestnut stuffing, persimmon pudding.

Time and price: 6 pm, with drinks and appetizers starting at 5 pm. 388 yuan ($60) for adults; discounts for children 4-18 and university students with ID. Children under 4 free. Online pre-pay required: see theschoolhouseatmutianyu.com for details and shuttle-bus option.

Menu highlights: Turkey with cornbread stuffing, honey-baked ham, sweet corn souffle, mashed potatoes with giblet gravy, apple or pumpkin pie.
