Christmas food at Beijing hotel

"Uncle Paul's Family-feeling Christmas", a food festival for Christmas, is being held in Beijing through Dec 25.

Paul Astephen, an American chef with more than 30 years of culinary experience, is preparing traditional American delicacies for the celebrations, including hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas, turkey dishes, ginger cookies and doughnuts. Minzu hotel, the fair's location, is also delivering turkey to diners' homes through advance orders.

The monthlong affair comes with themed activities related to Disney, Harry Potter and Santa Claus, among others, every Friday. On Christmas Eve, there will be choir performances, "lucky draws" and a special dinner, taking the celebrations to a peak.
