DiningCity, an online bilingual (Chinese and English) guide especially for high-end dining, along with Citibank, will hold China Restaurant Week from September 1 to 11.

The biannual China Restaurant Week is usually held in March and September, and approximately 400 top restaurants offer foodies a treat in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong province, Chengdu in Sichuan province, Suzhou in Jiangsu province, and Hangzhou in Zhejiang province.

During the week, there are three-course menus for 58 yuan ($8.74) for lunch, and 98 yuan for dinner. Packages costing 258 yuan will also be available in restaurants where meals typically cost between 300 and 600 yuan a head.

Based on factors such as reservation data, user comments and other data restaurants such as Hakkasan, Table No 1 by Jason Atherton and Maison FLO last year are also on the list this year.

Pre-bookings will start at 10 am on August 25 on the official booking website (http://www.restaurantweek.cn) and the app DiningCity.

Citibank card holders are already able to make bookings.

Users can check their bookings through the DiningCity website or the app.

Additional discounts may be offered to diners during off-peak hours.

The concept of "China Restaurant Week" is inspired by "New York Restaurant Week".
