Sri Lanka food fest launched in Minzu Hotel

Minzu Hotel and Mount Lavinia Hotel of Sri Lanka have jointly launched Sri Lanka Food Festival recently at Coffee Mill, Minzu Hotel, which will last through Nov 29. The event was held with the help of the Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation, Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Sri Lanka Embassy to China.

As a country abundant in spices, Sri Lanka is an island filled with fragrance, and the festival features dishes that will delight diners' taste buds with exotic seasonings and ingredients, such as hopper, a thin pancake made of rice powder and coconut juice. There are also exhibitions and special price offers of gems and black teas from the country.
