Nansha Yugang, a seafood restaurant in Daxing district, Beijing, has recently launched a seafood festival that will run until the Spring Festival.

Customers can choose and buy seafood at the restaurant's in-house seafood market that occupies 1,000 square meters on the first floor, and then get their selections cooked by the restaurant to enjoy in the dining area upstairs. The restaurant will charge based on the cost of the seafood and a service fee.

The seafood is sourced from both home and abroad, and is competitively priced, according to the restaurant.

All the seafood has undergone thorough hygiene and health examinations to ensure the quality and food safety, and most of them are sold alive, the restaurant management says.

Some of the seafood is from the Nansha Islands.
