Moderate earthquake jolts Tibet

BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Nyainrong County in Tibet's Nagqu at 8:58 a.m. Saturday, the China Earthquake Network Center said.

The epicenter was 32.5 degrees north latitude and 92.8 degrees east longitude, with a depth of about 10 kilometers.

No instant report on casualties was currently available.
