According to the website of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and the National Bureau of Statistics jointly issued a guide on Wednesday detailing tighter regulations on the setting and adjustment of minimum living standards for urban and rural residents
The outline said the minimum living standard should be linked to price fluctuation. The standard should be adjusted according to the prices of daily necessities and the improvement of living standards on a regular time schedule, according to the report.
