Kong Xianglin, a 75th-generation descendant of Confucius, sits in a theater of the UNESCO headquarters before a music and dance gala dedicated to Confucius on Sept 7, 2010. The gala is part of the ongoing "Confucius Cultural Week" hosted by UNESCO, which runs from Sept 6 to 10. The event features exhibitions, lectures, Chinese folk arts and music and dance performances.
