CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand - Chinese Embassy in New Zealand announced on Saturday a list of names and other information of 25 citizens believed to be still missing in a devastating earthquake jolting Christchurch, most of whom were overseas students studying in a language school.

Among the left five missing persons, one is a CTV staff from the city of Harbin, one is a college student from Shanghai; and the other three are from Hong Kong; Yunnan province and Wuhan respectively.
The list may also change as more information is provided, said Ambassador Xu while addressing the press.
Information provided in the list also include names, gender, birthday of the missing persons.
Rescue workers, including a 10-member team from China joining in from Saturday, were still toiling at the CTV building though hope faded gradually as time went by.
A 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Christchurch, the second largest city in New Zealand, on Tuesday, which left at least 145 people dead.
