Israel deports activists from Gaza-bound aid flotilla

JERUSALEM - Israel started on Wednesday deporting about 250 activists detained from a Gaza-bound aid flotilla, Israeli army radio said.

Over 700 people were on board the ships when Israeli navy conducted an attack against them on Monday, killing at least 9 and injuring more than 30.

Meanwhile, reports said on Wednesday that a group of activists detained from the international flotilla has arrived in Jordan after being deported from Israel.

The group has 124 activists. Among them, there were 30 Jordanians.
