BUCHAREST -- A military plane crashed and took fire Monday evening when taking off at Tuzla airport in eastern Romania, with ten found dead and three seriously wounded. Thirteen were on the An-2 utility aircraft, most of them parachutists.
According to the physician coordinator of Constanta County Ambulance Service Marian Beciu, the ten victims are still on the plane, burnt and three wounded were transported to hospital in Constanta, the largest Black Sea port city. The plane had problems on takeoff and crashed after a flight of two kilometers, ambulance representatives were cited as saying.
