Thai cabinet lifts state of emergency in 3 provinces

BANGKOK - Thailand's weekly cabinet meeting on Tuesday resolved to lift the state of emergency in three provinces, including the northern province of Lampang, the north-eastern province of Sakon Nakhon and Roi Et, the Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.

The cabinet meeting's resolution has been made after it is found that the situation in these provinces is under control and chaos has not re-occurred.
