Volkswagen's new SUV sparks up the market

China Daily | Updated: 2016-08-22 07:44

Volkswagen has made another strong move in China's growing premium sports utility market by launching the Touareg Executive Edition.

Volkswagen Import China launched the new leading edge, mid-size SUV on Thursday in Jilin province.

The car's stunning R-line front grille, which seamlessly connects to the L-shaped LED day-time running light, immediately expresses the model's new identity. The four-way adjustable air suspension system with Electronic Damper Control increases the SUV's water-wading height to 58 centimeters, and ensures a beautiful ride in all of the various drive modes.

The SUV is capable of driving on a surface tilt of 35 degrees, and both approaching and departing angles up to 30 degrees.

Passengers will be able to enjoy the wide open skies and scenery thanks to the sliding panoramic moon roof as they sit in the luxurious Nappa leather lounge seats surrounded by windows that block 65 percent of the light.

There are four airbags for the front seats, a lap airbag for the driver and two air curtains for the second row of seats. The SUV also features an electronic stability program (ESP) and an anti-lock brake system (ABS) and ASR.
