In a ward of Sunline, an American nurse with blond hair and blue eyes was down on her knees, injecting for a postoperative child slightly so as to not hurt the child. This made the parents so moved. “These American doctors and nurses are so kind and dedicated that we don’t know how to express our appreciation.” said Mrs. Luo, the child’s mother.
The American nurse, called Elizabenth, was one of the volunteers of Agape foundation. She came to China to help these children on her vocation and she had to pay all the fees by herself. “But I’m happy to do so.” She said.
Agape foundation was set in 2001 by a retired American named Ron Brown.
In 1998, the 61-year-old came to Yunan of China for a tour. But when he got there, a big flood occurred. Just because of the flood, he felt that there were lots of underprivileged need help in China. So he prepared to set a special foundation when he came back to America.
