Rapist at large agrees to meet police for a date

Police in Fujian province nabbed a rapist on the run after chatting with him on the Internet, pretending to be a beautiful woman, last Wednesday.

The man, surnamed Zhang, is accused of raping a woman in Fuqing on May 13.

Police got Zhang's online chat ID and waited patiently for him to log on.

Officers swung into action the second Zhang appeared online, chatting flirtatiously, and eventually flashing photos of a pretty girl.

Zhang agreed to meet the "girl" for a date last Wednesday. He was arrested when he showed up looking his best.
