National Museum unveils grand exhibition "Road to Revival"
After three-and-a-half years, the expansion project of the National Museum of China is finally winding down. The museum plans to reopen on the first of April. And to warm up for the re-opening, a large-scale exhibition titled "Road to Revival" was opened on Tuesday.
During the exhibition, high-definition panoramic projections recall one-century of history starting from the Opium War in 1840. The high-definition panoramic projections have excited many visitors.
"It is fantastic! We should use this kind of high technology more often."
"I have seen many exhibitions before, but I've never been this surprised. I feel like I'm right in the middle of the scene. I like it very much."
And that's the idea behind the high-definition panoramic projections...to help visitors connect with history.
