Shangri-La joins hands with Minsheng Bank to serve high-end customers

Luxury hotel chain Shangri-La agreed to cooperate with China Minsheng Bank Corp to better serve their high-end customers.

Kent Zhu, Group Director of Sales and Marketing of Shangri-La International Hotel Management signed a cooperation agreement with Yang Ke, President of the Credit Card Center of China Minsheng Bank Corp on June 23, 2011. Both parties shall jointly host golf tournaments for Minsheng Bank’s cardholders. Shangri-La's membership programme "Golden Circle" is the title sponsor for "Shangri-La Golden Circle Golf Tournament" held by Minsheng Bank Credit Card Center.

Zhu said at the ceremony: "Minsheng credit cards have won the hearts of cardholders in mainlandChinafor the excellent services and availability of choices."

"We are very delighted to cooperate with Minsheng Credit Card Center. Through title sponsoring the 'Shangri-La Golden Circle Golf Tournament', we hope to introduce Shangri-La's hospitality to Minsheng cardholders."

As a step taken to attract more Minsheng cardholders, Shangri-La shall provide hotel stays rewards totalling more than 1 million RMB. In return, all Minsheng Bank credit cardholders invited to the golf tournament shall automatically be entitled to Golden Circle JADE membership. Participants can also receive 2,000 Golden CircleAwards Points.

Yang of Minsheng Bank believes that the partnership betweenGolden Circleof Shangri-La and the Credit Card Center of China Minsheng Bank is "a powerful combination."

"Golf is one of the three core services Minsheng Bank offers for its high-end cardholders. It has already won the approval of our high-end clients after many years of efforts", said Yang.

"We host more than 20 tournaments annually, each an event much-anticipated and actively participated by our high-end clients. It's also an excellent platform for them to show their golfing skills and exchange ideas."

"With this cooperation, I believe both parties will benefit on developing high-end market, maintaining customer loyalty, enhancing service platform and raising brand awareness."
