An exhibition of three lacquer and pottery artists from the Chinese National Academy of Arts is being held at the Chinese Museum of Women and Children in Beijing.
Lacquer artist Wang Yaxiong's works range from furniture to tea and wine ware, in which he tries to use lacquer as an artistic language. Xu Xu and Gao Zhenyu try to base their pottery works on Chinese tradition and are particularly acclaimed for their teapots. The exhibition is the sixth of a series of exhibitions held by Chinese National Academy of Arts this year. It will close on Oct 27.
