Internet culture put under the microscope at expo

At the 9th China International Digital Content Expo held recently in Beijing, industry leaders held a summit titled "Development of Internet Culture in the Era of the Mobile Web".

Some of the participants at the forum included 163.com's deputy chief editor Ding Xiuhong, director of Tsinghua University's National Research Center for Cultural Industry Xiong Chengyu, and Zhu Huaxin, secretary-general of People.com.cn's department of public sentiment monitoring. The participants discussed the opportunities and challenges the mobile Web brings to such fields as social media, music and online games.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Culture and several other ministries, and presented by People.com.cn.
