About 140 cultural relics from Sichuan province, including those unearthed in the Sanxingdui Ruins in the city of Guanghan and from the Jinsha Ruins in the provincial capital Chengdu, have set off for a tour of Taiwan.
The exhibition will start in Taipei on Jan 19 and last until July 10. According to the Sichuan Cultural Relics Administration, the relics are of high cultural value, and 28 of them are A-class national treasures.
The exhibits include gold wares, jade works, bronze wares and pottery. The show is sponsored by local cultural departments and foundations from Taiwan.
