A two-day photo show and charity auction of works by 43 renowned photographers in Sichuan province was inaugurated last Saturday at the Chengdu Art Academy.

The works cover various themes, including ordinary people's daily lives, news, sports and landscapes.

Proceeds will go to the Chengdu Charity Federation, which will use it to assist underprivileged people, the federation's vice-chairwoman Wang Linlin says.

The show will be exhibited in Sichuan's Ya'an and Yibin cities, after Chengdu.
