Quick Impact initiative caring for children's health launched

During 2012 WEF Summer Davos in Tianjin, the Young Global Leaders (YGLs) Community together with Universal Love (China) Charitable Foundation (ULCF) launched the “Quick Impact Initiative Caring for World Children’s Health”, the first action to visit hospitalized children in poverty with congenital heart disease in-waiting for urgent treatment at Tianjin TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital. ULCF and China national brand Shanghai Pechoin sponsored the initiative launch. Two children in-waiting got donations for urgent heart surgery.
On September 13 the Young Global Leaders representatives delegation took time from World Economic Forum for the hospital site, accompanied by the directors of hospital and medical staff, visited those 50 hospitalized children in poverty with congenital heart diseases, the delegation spent time talking to their mothers and interacted with those children in-waiting for surgery.
The vision and mission of this Quick Impact initiative are to sustainably to promote and donate supporting care for children in poverty with congenital heart diseases, both in China and other developing countries in the worlds.
