City guide (June 19-June 30)
Cityscapes as dreams
Singapore native Danielle Tay is fascinated by the environment and how natural and manmade surroundings are constructed, perceived and navigated. Her first Hong Kong solo exhibition, The Important Bits, uses collages on paper backgrounds to investigate the planned and unplanned infrastructure of a city with vibrantly colorful textures. The maze-like path in which the collection is exhibited is a microcosm of cityscapes themselves.

Coinciding with a photo book published by MCCM Creations, the exhibition includes Zhang Xiaogang, Johnnie To, Perry So, Gary Chang and Douglas Young depicted through Chu's oeuvre as you have never seen them before.
