Gourmet festival for summer at group’s hotels

More than 30 restaurants in Shanghai and Beijing are celebrating the 30th year since the InterContinental Hotels Group entered the Chinese market, with a gourmet festival. The hotel group is presenting its first InterContinental Gourmet Season in Shanghai from June 1-30, and in Beijing from June 15-July 15.
Eight Beijing properties of the InterContinental and Crowne Plaza brands will participate in the event. There will be two themes – "Savor a Slower Taste of Life" and "Enjoy Healthy Seasonal Flavors". The event will be held in the hotels' Chinese and Western restaurants and bars. Each will offer choice ingredients for businesspeople and gourmets in Beijing, as well as festival set menus.
Two InterContinental hotels in Beijing will introduce carefully crafted menus on the theme, "Savor a Slower Taste of Life".
At the same time, six Crowne Plaza hotels in Beijing will promote healthy and seasonal dishes, including Snow Dragon beef. The chefs at the hotels are ready to offer gourmet treats from around the world.
Some of the restaurants participating are the Steak Exchange at InterContinental Beijing Financial Street, Hopfenstube German Restaurant and beerhouse at Crowne Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-Town, and Rainbow Yunnan Restaurant at Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace.
