Hong Kong

Chef at airport lounge

Qantas has opened a new and very spacious airport lounge at Hong Kong International Airport.

Guests in the lounge can enjoy expansive views of Qantas planes preparing to jet off to various destinations while relaxing with a glass of their favorite tipple. They can also partake of the food designed by Australian celebrity chef Neil Perry, based on his Rockpool and Spice Temple restaurants with regionally inspired flavors and ingredients.

Qantas Lounge, Level 7, above Gate 15, Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1.

Checking it out

Check-in Taipei on Hollywood Road in Central (former Schoeni Gallery location) offers contemporary Taiwan cuisine, with ingredients sourced both locally and from Taiwan to ensure the authenticity of the flavors. The signature Chicken & Waffle dish combines the famous Taiwan salty crispy fried chicken with fluffy waffle and pineapple chutney that is a play on the chicken and waffles best known as American soul food. The imaginative drinks and cocktails are handcrafted creations with ingredients such as egg pudding, chewy pearls, and a tea-infused spirit imported direct from Taiwan.
