Italy on the shelf

The Italian theme lingered in Beijing through the weekend, with the opening of the Italian Center at the west edge of Sanlitun. Inside there is Al Bar Italia, a full-service deli serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with savory Italian cold cuts on offer. On the other side is CruItaly, offering English and Chinese language information on the regions of Italy and what makes their wines distinctive, and an impressive selection of wines from across the country at many price points.
