A traditional Chinese medicine center for foreign politicians was founded in Beijing on May 24.
The Qihuang TCM Experiencing Center for Foreign Dignitaries was a joint effort between the World Culture Forum (Taihu, China) and the institute of basic clinical medical sciences with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.
It is supported by the Foreign Ministry and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
"The center will highlight TCM culture and strive to offer quality TCM services and leisure and health-preservation guidance," says Yan Zhaozhu, president of the World Culture Forum.
It will spread this traditional Chinese culture through face-to-face interactive experiences with foreign friends and help them better understand TCM, Yan adds.
The center has received support from five well-known TCM hospitals in China and TCM masters and experts from the Chinese sciences and engineering academies will be invited to offer treatments.
