The grandfather of Kate Moss' only daughter has hit out at the supermodel's
drug addict boyfriend, Pete Doherty, amid fears that the four-year-old will be
exposed to drugs.
Speaking for the first time about his daughter-in-law's love life, Douglas
Hack has said that he does not want Lila Grace anywhere near the Babyshambles
singer.
'We're worried about Doherty and his drug situation,' he said. 'We don't want
Lila around him or drugs.
'But Kate is headstrong. She's going to do whatever she wants and who can
tell her otherwise.
'It's not like she's listen to us anyway, she just loves the whole rock
thing.'
The 32-year-old model has been dating Doherty, who, until recently, was in
rehab undergoing treatment for heroin and crack cocaine addiction, for 18
months.
Although Miss Moss remains close to her in-laws, her relationship with the
27-year-old singer is badly effecting her friendship with the father of her
child, Jefferson Hack.
Indeed, Douglas, 68, revealed that his son 'can't stand' Doherty. 'Jefferson
doesn't like Pete at all,' he told Closer magazine.
'They've been in the same room a couple of times, but
really just by accident. He left as soon as he saw him, Jefferson can't stand
him.'
