Britney Spears has opened up her soon-to-be former home in Malibu, California to promote her fragrances for Christmas.

Even though the pop star is selling up the home she shared with estranged husband Kevin Federline and their kids, and moving out, Spears has decked the halls and hung the tree - with bottles of her perfumes Curious and Fantasy.

In the cheesy new festive ad, which appeared on TV news show Access Hollywood last night, the Toxic singer says, "My two favourite things I love to give (as Christmas gifts) are my perfumes."

"I'm giving my very first fragrance, Curious, for the holidays (and) I love giving Fantasy for the holidays because it makes you feel sexy and seductive."

Spears plays the perfect hostess as she treats TV cameras to a look around her festive lounge and then bids them a great Christmas, adding, "Thanks for coming over and happy holidays."
