Lily Allen's debut clothing range for New Look failed to live up to its fashion hype.

The singer launched her Lily Loves collection for the high street store and appears to have lost out to Kate Moss.

Despite all the supposed rivalry over who had the best collection, there was a muted response from customers when the high street chain opened their doors earlier this week.

This was in contrast to supermodel Kate Moss' collection for Topshop, which caused mayhem amongst shoppers the week before.

More than a1000, people queued outside Topshop¡¯s flagship store to get their hands on the style icon's clothing range.

Prior to her launch, Lily said her collection provided "positive body images for positive women" adding "Unlike Kate Moss and that millionaire who's thrown a load of money at her so we can get to see what her wardrobe is like."
