6. Jilin Agricultural University
Founded in 1948, Jilin Agricultural University is a provincial key university in Jilin and one of the first group of higher education institutions in China accredited to award bachelor degrees and master’s degrees. In 1993, it became the first of all provincial colleges and universities in Jilin province to award doctoral degrees. In 2011, the People’s Government of Jilin province and the Ministry of Agriculture co-sponsored the school. It was designated by the Ministry of Education as “the University with Typical Experience in Finding Employment for Graduates”.
7. Changchun University of Technology
Changchun University of Technology is a provincial key university with engineering as the mainstay featuring mutual support and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as engineering, sciences, management, humanities, economics, law, pedagogy and arts. It is an important base in Jilin province for the cultivation of high-level talents, R&D of applied technologies, development and manufacture of new high-tech products and high level social services. In 1992, the Jilin Provincial Government designated it as one of the three key provincial universities. In 2004, the Ministry of Education in the National Evaluation of Undergraduate Teaching Quality recognized the school as an "outstanding university". In July 2013, it was started awarding doctoral degrees.
8. Jilin Jianzhu University
Located in the Jingyue National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Changchun, Jilin province, Jilin Jianzhu University is a key general institution of higher education in Jilin province. In 2013, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the university was officially changed its name to its current title. It has become a base for the cultivation of high-level professionals in the urban-rural construction field, for scientific research and development, for decision-making consultancy and services in Jilin province.
9. Changchun Normal University
Located in Changchun, the beautiful Spring City in North China, Changchun Normal University is an important base for the cultivation of pre-school teachers, elementary school and middle school teachers and high-level application-oriented professionals. It is a key provincial university accredited to award doctoral degrees.
10. Changchun University of Chinese Medicine
Changchun University of Chinese Medicine is the successor of Changchun College of Chinese Medicine established in 1958, whose name was officially changed to its current name in 2006. It is a key university in Jilin province and a key university included in the Project of Basic Capability Construction of Universities in Central and Western China. It has a comparatively complete teaching system, scientific research system and medical care providing system. It is awards bachelor, master and doctoral degrees. Based on the discipline of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is the only key provincial university that features the coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as medical science, science, engineering, management and humanities, has unique characteristics and widespread social reputation.
