Liu Weiyi, a teacher in Changchun Shiyan Middle School, will retire on September 1st, 2017. September 10th is the last Teacher's Day he will enjoy in his educational career.

Liu has been a teacher for 36 years. During those years he was the headmaster for 27 graduating classes. Liu worked in No.3 Middle School in Fuyu County and Songhuajiang Middle School in Jilin; he now works for Changchun Shiyan Middle School.

His former students come back to eat meals with Liu Weiyi every Teacher's Day, and he has received many special gifts from them, such as hand-made cards, a gift he finds especially meaningful.
