Aside from the splendid lantern show, many traditional Chinese performances including lion dances, acrobatics, and magic shows can be appreciated. Visitors can also guess the riddles on the lanterns, which originated in ancient China.

The event is intended to add to the Spring Festival flavor in Changchun City, and promote traditional Chinese folk culture and improve the High-tech Zone District's influence on the entire city. Furthermore, the activity also aims to create a happy new year atmosphere and improve people's happiness.
