Full industrial chain tourism should be promoted in Jilin province to improve visitors' travel experience, Jilin provincial CPPCC member Feng Di suggested.

"The tourism industry is one of the best industries in Jilin province with great economic and development potential," Feng said.

The province has rich natural scenery, unique folk culture, historical industries and commemorations of China's war history, all of which makes it an ideal destination for tourists.

To meet tourists' demands for higher quality, Feng suggested innovatively developing the industry in the entire province and integrating traveling resources with various economic offices to promote a full industrial chain.

He also mentioned that better services should be provided to visitors and travel departments should help tourism agencies to drive the growth of other industries.

Feng said he hopes Jilin province will become a popular international holiday destination.
