Parents are only required to pay 800 yuan a month as management fee in order to send their kids to the inclusive private kindergartens, which is 70 percent reduction compared to the past.
"It's a good move," said Zhang Lifu, chairwomen of the Golden Balicheng Kindergarten under the Changchun Tractor Preschool Education Group, one of the five pilot kindergartens, adding that over 150 children have been admitted by the kindergarten over the past month.
Changchun will continue to quicken the pace of building more public kindergartens and support the opening of more inclusive private kindergartens to ensure that children obtain better and cheaper preschool education.
