Jilin policies designed to spur private sector
Officials from seven government departments in Northeast China’s Jilin province held a press conference to announce several policies to boost development of the private sector, on Jan 11.
The province’s industry and information technology department, politics and law committee, procuratorate, public security department, science and technology department, natural resources department, and tax service department were all represented at the event.
Representatives from the province’s industry and information technology department highlighted efforts to cut costs for companies, ranging from measures targeted at the use of land, to logistics.
And Jilin’s science and technology department announced policies to encourage private companies to conduct technological research and innovation, train workers, and trade abroad. In addition, policies including improving administrative and legal services for private companies and reducing tax burdens were also outlined during the conference.
