Northeast China's Jilin to embark on a new journey

Jilin in Northeast China will continue to grow and achieve its revitalization, it has been affirmed at this year's two sessions.
Deputy Chu Jianmei believes that to strengthen soil protection, it is necessary for farmers to master advanced agricultural technology and to help farmers improve their planting and management levels in all respects.
Over the past five years, Jilin province has continued to promote its transformation and upgrading, through the construction of products such as Hongqi brand cars, Fuxing bullet trains, and Jilin-1 satellites. The development of its ice and snow tourism, biomedicine and other industries has also been strong.
Deputy Wang Bing said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Baishan city will continue to grow and to expand and strengthen its pillar industries.
Deputy Qi Songyu, who is a maintenance electrician in the technical department of FAW's Hongqi factory, suggested that grass-roots employees should jointly participate in the digital empowerment reform of their enterprises, and play their own roles in the revitalization of the old industrial base.
Over the past five years, Jilin province has unswervingly deepened reforms, continued to optimize its business environment, and increased the vitality of its market entities significantly.
In 2020, Jilin's investment promotion bucked the trend, and funds in place increased by 25.1 percent.
CPPCC member Song Yakun suggested that the province continue to create a better business environment during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, so that enterprises can develop with greater confidence and convenience.
