Jilin province records growth in investment promotion in Q1
Northeast China's Jilin province recorded growth in its investment promotion in the first quarter of 2021, and is on course to see investment promotion reach 35.66 billion yuan ($5.44 billion), a year-on-year increase of 35.1 percent, according to Jilin Daily.
In the first quarter of this year, Jilin planned 500 key economic cooperation projects in the province, with a total investment of 994.39 billion yuan, covering areas including automobiles, agriculture, agricultural product processing, and tourism, as well as strategic emerging industries and modern service industries.
In terms of consolidating the promotion of key projects, Jilin province dispatched and summarized 543 key negotiations and promotion projects across the province. Of these, 137 were key projects promoted at the provincial level.
For major projects such as FAW-Audi New Energy Vehicles, China Resources International Automobile City Cultural, Tourism, and Commercial Project, China Railway Northeast Asia International Convention and Exhibition Center Cultural, Tourism and Commercial Project, Jilin will increase its efforts to focus on service work and ensure the projects are set in motion as soon as possible.
