A total of 30 classes of Qinhuai lanterns are on display in a summer festival that kicked off on Tuesday in the Changchun Lianhua (Lotus) Mountain Eco-tourism Resort in Changchun, Jilin province.

The colorful lanterns are made in different shapes, including figures, animals and flowers, presenting some of the traditional Chinese folk tales.

Visitors can enjoy the wonderful night scene and sleep over on the boats just like a tour along the Qinhuai River in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.

Another 35 groups of Zigong lanterns will be displayed at the resort starting from the end of June.

In addition, visitors can also have chance to appreciate various performances and join in interactive games during the festival.
