A Day of Smart Energy Experience  This exhibition area functions as an epitome of the present. Set against four energy-consuming scenarios—household, means of transportation, countryside and city, it enables visitors to experience how wind, solar, nuclear and hydraulic energy are generated at zero distance. Full-immersed interactions, physical miniatures, movie and image-based interactions, physical apparatus, sand table models, and VR devices are used to provide visitors with insight into the relations between new energy and human life, just implied as its name—a day of smart energy experience.

Dream Theater of Future Energy  The theater comes as the most shining name card of China Pavilion. It represents the future. Used to play the themed video clip of the pavilion, it can hold 90 persons at most. The 3D video is presented on a double curved screen which makes a 180 degree turn. The clip is embodied with such elements as "the Belt and Road" initiative and dream of future energy, to stress the importance of the energy transition and the "Man-made Sun" nuclear fusion multi-media apparatus. It tells the story about how the protagonists run after the light in search of new energy to give back to nature. Vivid and interesting, the fictional video shows human's vision for future energy, reflects China's exploration and practice in this regard, and reveals the Chinese people's confidence in overcoming technical challenges confronting energy development and promoting partnership along the silk road.
